What this study is about
We study how carefully designed VR scenarios reduce performance anxiety and build confidence that carries over into exams, interviews, and careers.
You take on two roles: supporting the research as an assistant, and taking part in the VR protocol as a participant. Sessions recreate pressured moments such as public speaking, timed tasks, group work, and interviews, all within a safe, supervised environment.
No prior research or VR experience is required. Training, equipment, and mentorship are included.
- Open to students at any U.S. college or university
- Hybrid format with flexible scheduling
- $3,500 stipend paid weekly
- Letter of recommendation pathway for strong performers
